Augie’s Frozen Pineapple Margarita

For the garnish: Jalapeños slices-cut real thinly and fresh mint leaves. The best way to get the most out of your mint, is by slapping it before using it in a dish prior to drinking. Red pepper flakes, tajin and sea salt rim-to add an extra kick of spice and tang. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
How to make pineapple margarita: First, place 2 cups frozen pineapple, 1 cup ice and juice of 4 limes in the food processor and hit the blend button. Blend for 3 or so minutes until smooth. You will need to push down the sides of the mixture with a rubber spatula throughout to get everything mixed in. At the end add 3 oz Augie's Tequila, 1 oz triple sec and blend for an additional 15 seconds. Once blended, take a left-over lime and move it around the rim of the cup. Combine the sea salt, tajin and red pepper flakes and run the rim of the glass over the salt and pepper mixture. Pour the drink in the cup and garnish with mint and jalapeños. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
